Baxter Hines, CFA, is managing partner with Honeycomb Digital Investments. He co-founded the firm in 2020 to provide income producing solutions for clients. His firm manages portfolios consisting of traditional assets, security tokens and digital assets.

Mr. Hines was a managing director, portfolio manager and co-lead for several internationally focused value strategies during his 12 years with NFJ Investment Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Allianz Global Investors. Prior to his time with NFJ, he was an analyst with the Teacher Retirement Systems of Texas and worked as financial systems specialist for Reuters. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA in finance from the University of Texas. His investment philosophy and market outlook have been profiled in several financial publications including Barron’s and The Wall Street Journal.  Mr. Hines holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Dallas.

Benjamin Tsai is an entrepreneur and financier in startup and real estate with 15 years of experience developing global investment solutions across Asian client segments. He is the president and managing partner of Wave Financial, which offers venture investment, crypto-treasury management, and services for digital asset management. Wave Financial (formerly known as Genesis Holdings) is also the parent company of Wavemaker Genesis, a new cryptocurrency venture fund.

Laurent Chemla is a serial entrepreneur and investor with more than 25 years of experience building and managing successful companies in the digital space. Jamie gave an excellent history of stocks, bonds and securities trading and then demonstrated why blockchain based Digital Assets are superior to the existing state of the industry.

ADAM BLUMBERG – CFP ®, CLU ®

Adam is a Certified Financial Planner and Registered Investment Advisor in Texas.  He has been in the Financial Services industry since early 2009 – starting with an insurance broker/dealer.  In 2014, Adam and his partner Ron Dixon founded Chart Wealth Management to create financial independence for clients. In 2017, Adam and Ron jumped into  cryptocurrency – first Bitcoin and Ether, and later in Alt-coin trading.  Adam has learned along the way about why cryptocurrencies exist and has spent immense time researching and learning Blockchain technology.

In early 2019, with the growth of Decentralized Finance and Security Tokens, Adam and Ron started speaking at conferences, as some of the only Financial Advisors to understand the space, and the ramifications of Blockchain and DeFi. Interaxis is a company focused on education and adoption of Decentralized Finance and Blockchain Technologies.

Adam lives in Houston (for now) with his family.  He is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance and Honors Business.

Tyler is a Securities, Digital Assets, and Blockchain Attorney who advises businesses on key legal issues concerning corporate matters, capital markets regulations and fundraising compliance, and intellectual property protection and licensing.  As an advisor to founders, investors, and startups, Tyler has worked closely with companies on security token offerings (STOs), Anti Money Laundering/Know Your Customer (AML/KYC) compliance, broker-dealer compliance, digital asset fund formation, investor due diligence, and a wide range of other legal matters to help entrepreneurs launch and grow successful businesses. He also publishes articles analyzing recent SEC enforcement actions and other regulatory developments regarding cryptocurrency and blockchain companies.

Tyler received his Juris Doctor from Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Drexel University where he focused on corporate and intellectual property law. Harttraft was a law clerk in the intellectual property group at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellot, LLC from January through June 2017. He is an active member of the ABA’s Trademarks and the Internet Committee and the Philadelphia Ethereum Community, as well as an author on topics concerning emerging technologies and developments in intellectual property law.
